North Entrance Lifesaver, Col Laing, has been awarded Surf Life Saving Australia’s highest honour.
With more than 62 years of active patrol under his belt, Laing has been named a life member.
His unwavering dedication to the movement has seen him clock up more than 5000 hours in red and yellow.
He’s also won dozens of Branch, State and National medals for the Central Coast.
