P-PLATER CHARGED OVER HIGH SPEED PEARL BEACH CRASH
A P-plater has been charged over a high speed crash on the Central Coast which has left a teenager fighting for life.
Four boys, all aged 17, were inside the vehicle, when it slammed into a tree off Patonga Drive at Pearl Beach early this morning.
One of the back seat passengers was treated for head injuries before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
Another passenger was taken to Gosford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No one else was injured.
The driver’s licence has been suspended.
He has been charged with low-range drink driving, as well as aggravated dangerous driving while travelling more than 45 kilometres over the speed limit.
