POLICE FINE TWO NORTHERN RIVERS VENUES OVER ALLEGED COVID BREACHES

Two Northern Rivers venues have been fined $5000 each for breaching COVID rules.

Police say they attended the Gollan Hotel in Lismore on Saturday night where there was no COVID safety plan in place. It’s the second fine for the venue in recent months.

Officers also visited the Shaws Bay Hotel in East Ballina over the weekend, where they allege there was no social distancing.
