UNE TO TAKE PART IN ‘INNOVATION DISTRICTS COVID-19 CHALLENGE’

The University of New England’s ‘Smart Region Incubator’ has snatched up a unique task – participating in the State Treasury’s ‘Innovation Districts COVID-19 Challenge’.

The initiative is an opportunity for regional start-up businesses to put forward their ideas, or products, for overcoming the effects of the pandemic.

Three businesses from each participating region then go into a draw to win $250,000 – to get their proposed idea off the ground.

“Things like developing health in remote contexts, so Telehealth, things to do with mental health, resilience but it could also be things that support our supply chain.”

Interested parties can contact the UNE ‘Smart Regional Incubator’ for more information.
