The heat is ready to peak. Hot NW winds will kick in a little harder tomorrow ahead of the first burst of relief on Friday. Temperatures will soar into the high 30s cracking 40 degrees across parts of the NW and Upper Hunter. Sea breezes will once again favour the coastal fringe. Night will also be very warm. Cyclone Winston will continue to move towards the Australian coast taking a path in between Lord Howe and Numea. This will help increase the swell from the Gold Coast to Gosford.
