Newcastle Police are appealing for information about a serious assault that occurred late at night on September 19.
Between 11:30pm and 1:20am, a man was assaulted by a group of men on Maitland Road, Islington.
The victim suffered serious facial injuries and was take to hospital for treatment.
Police started an investigation, and are asking anyone who may have seen the assault to come forward.
