TWO WOMEN AND A CHILD INJURED IN HEAD-ON CRASH
Two women and a young child are in a serious condition, after a head-on collision near Coffs Harbour.
Emergency services were called to Upper Orara Road at Upper Orara yesterday afternoon at around 5.20pm, following reports a Toyota Corolla and a Kia Sportage had crashed along a bend.
Drivers and passengers were briefly trapped in their vehicles.
A 51-year-old Bonville woman suffered several fractures and bruising.
Her passenger, an 11-year-old boy, was taken to the John Hunter hospital with shoulder and neck injuries.
The driver of the other car, a 57-year-old Upper Orara woman, also suffered fractures.
A dog in the Corolla did not survive the crash.
