ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDES OVER FIRST CENTRAL COAST COUNCIL MEETING

Administrator Dick Persson has presided over the first Central Coast Council meeting since councillors were suspended on Friday.

It was mainly a formality to appoint Acting CEO, Rik Hart, after Gary Murphy was asked to stay on leave.

“Mr Murphy being sent on leave does not reflect that he has done anything wrong,” Mr Persson said.

“It was just inappropriate that he be here.”

Council will continue to hold future meetings in person, after conducting them remotely for the last six months.
