UNION HOLDS NO CONFIDENCE VOTE AGAINST CENTRAL COAST COUNCIL STAFF

The United Services Union has held a unanimous vote of no confidence in Central Coast Council, saying staff have been kept in the dark about the true extent of its financial crisis.
Members remain enraged at council’s Executive Leadership Team, after the state government had to intervene to ensure wages were paid late last month.
The USU says it’s received confirmation from the administrator, salaries and other entitlements will be paid into the future.
