Erina Ice Arena is re-opening in the new year following renovations to replace dangerous cladding at the Olympic-sized rink.
Nearly 9,000 skaters signed a petition last year to prevent its permanent closure, after it was unclear if owners would be granted permission to return to the Erina Fair site.
A grand reopening is now slated for January 2.
