A man will face court today after being charged with the alleged murder of a man in the state’s New England region almost a decade ago.
Darren Royce Willis, then aged 45, was seen leaving the Imperial Hotel at Bingara on the evening of Friday 10 December 2010.
Detectives investigating the 2010 disappearance arrested a 50-year-old man at Moree Police Station, about 9am on Thursday 1 October 2020.
He was charged with conceal serious indictable offence (murder).
The man was placed on strict conditional bail to appear before Moree Local Court today.
