The man accused of kidnapping a 12-year-old Gold Coast boy for a sum of money, and taking him across state lines to New South Wales is facing extradition back to Queensland.
Authorities are expected to apply for the 53-year-old man to be extradited in Grafton Local Court this morning, after which he will likely to be formally charged with kidnapping for ransom.
The boy was reunited with his family last night, after 30 hours apart.
