When you lose something in the ocean, many people expect to never see it again, but one Lismore man is set to be reunited with his wallet after it spent nearly 26 years at sea.
Lennox Head locals spotted the wallet washed up on the beach earlier this week, with the cards and even a $5 note still inside.
After posting a photo to a community Facebook page, the owner was quickly found.
Paul Davis lost the wallet on New Years Eve in 1994, and plans to frame it in his bar.
