CENTRAL COAST COUNCIL UNVEILS WHICH PROPERTIES WILL GO ON MARKET
Central Coast Council may sell one of its administration buildings to rein in its $89 million deficit.
With more staff working from home, the Gosford hub has been virtually empty since the pandemic began.
Administrator Dick Persson will consider a motion to put nearly three dozen parcels of land on the market at Monday night’s meeting.
Other CBD properties, and land around Warnervale Airport are earmarked to go.
Council has budgeted more than half a million dollars for advertising the sales, as well as legal and conveyance fees.
It comes as a 10 per cent rate increase remains on the table.
