A man in his 30’s has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition after being involved in a high speed crash on Cameron Park Drive, Cameron Park.
He was treated for suspected chest, pelvic and limb injuries.
The man was trapped when emergency services arrived on the scene just before 2pm.
A man in his 40’s was also treated for minor injuries and is in a stable condition.
Inspector Ash Cutten said rescue crews did a fantastic job at extricating the man.
“We encourage all road users to take extra care as we head into the festive season.”
