NEW PLANNING CONTROLS FOR CENTRAL COAST

Central Coast Council has streamlined its planning controls.
A consolidated Local Environment Plan and Development Control Plan were locked in Monday night.
A minimum residential lot size of 550 m2 will be implemented, along with a building height limit of 8.5 metres.
Until now, five different codes were used to govern land use across the merged council area.
More than 750 residents provided feedback in the lead-up to the decision.
