North coast residents are being urged not to give out personal information to telemarketers claiming to be from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The warning follows reports of locals receiving calls from a person claiming to be from the service, asking questions about personal income.
The service says it does not conduct telemarketing campaigns and anyone receiving a suspicious call should contact police.
