VISION EMERGES OF CRASH SCATTERING DRUGS, CASH ON M1

Dashcam footage has emerged of a horrific crash on the M1 earlier this month, during which police discovered drugs and weapons.

The driver of a Landcruiser ute appears to overtake traffic on the right-hand shoulder of the busy Ourimbah motorway before slamming into a red muscle car.

Debris, cannabis and almost $40,000 cash was left scattered across several lanes.

Police say they also uncovered cocaine and seven firearms while investigating the December 5 crash.

The alleged driver, a 37-year-old man from Queensland, remains before the courts.
