FLASH FLOODING CAUSES HAVOC IN LISMORE THIS AFTERNOON

Far North Coast residents had hoped the worst was over – but a sudden downpour caused havoc in Lismore this afternoon, triggering flash flooding.

Cars have been submerged, and the SES performed several rescues, including one at a local pre-school.

Tonight, homes and businesses remain at risk.
