NEW PARTNERSHIP TO HELP SURE-UP TAMWORTH’S WATER SUPPLY

Tamworth’s water security has been placed in safe and secure hands.

Tamworth Regional Council and the University of New England, partnering up, to undertake a series of research initiatives.

The projects will focus on how to shore-up the region’s water supplies, with a focus on preventing evaporation.

Students from the Uni’s Science and Technology School will be the brains behind the research – putting forward their best cost-effective, post-drought strategies.
