Byron Bay’s Bluesfest has again been crowned the best, major festival and event in the state.
It last won the coveted prize at the New South Wales Tourism Awards in 2011.
The award acknowledges the positive economic impact the event has on the region, as well its role in promoting the area.
Last year, the event was headlined by Paul Simon, Robert Plant and Santana.
The 25th Bluesfest will be held next year, featuring big international stars such as Jack Johnson and John Mayer.
