A man disqualified from driving for 44 years will face court today, after he was pulled over by police in Newcastle earlier this morning.
At about 2:40am, officers patrolling Hamilton stopped a vehicle for a random breath test.
Checks revealed the driver is a habitual traffic offender and is disqualified from driving until 2064.
He was taken to Newcastle Police Station and charged with drive whilst disqualified, use unregistered and uninsured vehicle, use vehicle with unauthorised number plates.
He was bail refused and will appear in Newcastle Local Court today.
