GAV’S WEATHER | SOUTHERLY CHANGE TOMORROW
The large pool of hot air is now dominating central Australia and was felt in the east today especially the Greater Hunter as the NW winds kicked in during the afternoon.
Only north QLD is receiving any significant rain at the moment.
The heat from Central Australia will continue to make its way across the region helping drive up temperatures ahead of tomorrows change, causing strong wind warnings to be issued.
The pre-frontal trough will fire up afternoon and evening storms along the northern NSW ranges.
An early morning southerly will pass over the Greater Hunter and Central Coast before sunrise.
As it moves north isolated storms and showers will develop as it collides with the hot air over northern NSW.
