Central Coast Labor MPs have renewed calls for an inquiry into the local council’s financial decline.
Administrator Dick Persson this week indicated a 15 councillor model established during the 2016 merger was not effective, while investigating its $565 million debt.
However, he has not blamed the situation solely on the amalgamation.
The opposition wants any probe to pay attention to the financial states of both the former Gosford City and Wyong Shire.
