Taree firefighters are urging us to drive more carefully, following a recent spike in car accidents.
Meanwhile, Fire and Rescue has received new uniforms to improve firies’ safety.
The lightweight design provides added protection against contaminants.
Deputy Captain, Nathan Cooks says, “They’re very important, they’re critical to firefighter safety although the older uniforms provided fire safety for our firefighters these uniforms are just enhanced safety all round.”
