A teenager is in a critical condition after his car left the road and crashed into a tree near Grafton.
The Holden ute was travelling west on Pringles Way at Lawrence around 1:30pm yesterday when the collision occurred.
The 19-year-old driver was trapped for a number of hours before he was released and airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
No one else was injured.
Police are investigating circumstances surrounding the crash.
