Central Australia is cloud free, sunny and hot but locally, Newcastle to the Gold Coast is still cloud affected with never ending showers rolling through.
The wet weather with heavy showers at times will continue along the coast tomorrow and into weekend as the trough deepens into a low.
The heavier showers will start to affect areas further south into the Newcastle region tomorrow.
On the western side of the mountains there will be partly cloudy skies but conditions will remain mostly fine.
On the weekend after the low forms, some wet weather may reach parts of the North West.
