A man has died after being hit by a car on a driveway near Ballina this afternoon.
Shortly after 1pm, emergency services were called to a home on Callicoma Court, Wollongbar.
When they arrived they found a man, believed to be aged in his 60s, trapped underneath the vehicle.
Sadly, he died at the scene.
Officers from Richmond Police District attended and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
