A man has been killed after his four-wheeled-drive collided head on with, a refrigerated truck on the Newell Highway, north of Narrabri.
Emergency crews rushed to help around 1:30am, but sadly the man died at the scene.
The 38-year-old truck driver was taken to Narrabri Hospital with injuries to his arm and chest.
Anyone with dashcam footage should contact police.
