A truck driver is lucky to be alive after rolling his B double on the Pacific Highway, north of Byron Bay overnight.
Emergency services found the B-Double on its side after it tipped over and hit a tree 500 metres north of the Byron Bay turn off.
The 38-year-old driver has minor shoulder injuries.
Crews expect the south bound lane to be closed until at least midday while they clean up the area.
