Police are looking for anyone with information or dashcam footage after a woman was assaulted during a home invasion near Woy Woy overnight.
Officers were called to the home on Beachfront Parade at St Huberts Island just before midnight to find a 47-year-old suffering multiple injuries.
The woman told police that the man, who is unknown to her, repeatedly punched and kicked her before stealing personal items.
She was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
