Plans have progressed to see Quirindi added to the state’s Silo Art Trail.
The project’s committee has now received a draft report from an engineer, which has confirmed the site’s suitability.
It comes after an online petition to see the structures painted garnered almost 5,000 signatures.
Liverpool Plains Shire Council, Whitehaven Coal and Quirindi Business Chamber have all contributed funding toward the project.
Plans are expected to be finalised by next month.
