MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY INTIMIDATING FAMILY AT CENTRAL COAST MCDONALD’S
A man has been charged after allegedly intimidating a family at a Central Coast McDonald’s last month.
Police say the family were eating at the Wyong fast food restaurant on Anzac Road on February 21, when a man started verbally abusing them and intimidating the children, aged eight and three.
A 60-year-old man in the group tried to diffuse the unprovoked attack, but the alleged offender, not known to the family, continued to threaten and abuse them.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 43-year-old man at The Entrance on Sunday over an unrelated matter.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend to fear physical harm and one count of affray.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court next Tuesday.
