PROTESTERS DEMAND ACTION AGAINST PUPPY FARMING IN ARMIDALE
Protesters marched, to Adam Marshall’s office in Armidale today – demanding action against puppy farming.
The group brought with them a petition with more than 41,000 signatures – calling for the agriculture minister to outlaw the practice in New South Wales.
“Someone could have a farm of 600 dogs that are forced to pump out litter after litter after litter until their body literally collapses. This is puppy farming and this is what the community won’t accept and Adam Marshall needs to step up,” says Ellen Hurst from the Animal Justice Party.
The Animal Justice Party is writing its own legislation to take to parliament.
