NORTHERN RIVERS ON VERY HIGH ALERT AS LOCAL POSITIVE COVID CASE CONFIRMED

Confirmation Byron Bay’s iconic Bluesfest has been cancelled for a second year is a massive disappointment for organisers, who’ve worked tirelessly for months to get the event off the ground, not to mention performers, food vendors and music fans.

The NSW Health Minister is encouraging anyone with a ticket to hold onto it, with organisers expected to begin working on a new date as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, new restrictions have kicked in for the Tweed, Ballina, Byron and Lismore LGAs – a region that was already reeling.
