More than half a million dollars in state government funding has been secured for road safety upgrades in the Kempsey and Port Macquarie Hastings council areas.
Safety barriers will be installed along the Oxley Highway throughout Long Flat, while Kempsey Council has secured over $300,000 to improve roads in Burnt Bridge and Grassy Head.
The initiative is part of the state government’s five year Road Toll Response Package.
