A 53-year-old Bellingen man has been flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital after being struck by a semi trailer at Raleigh last night.
Police say the man, who sustained critical head and internal injuries, was hit by the truck while walking along the Pacific Highway at around 1am.
The truck driver has undergone mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
