Cameron Park School, Junction Public, Hamilton South and Merewether High will share in $117,000 from the state government to upgrade sports facilities.
Merewether High will use the money to revamp its basketball courts.
“Merewether High needs these courts refurbished, so $60,000 plus they will get and it’s really good news for the school.”
“That way we’ll be able to offer more sports to students and the benefits will flow on to not only our students but students from other schools that come to play and the community.”
