A body has been found inside a home following a house fire in the New England region this morning.
Emergency services were called to the single level home at Tingha, around 8am to find it engulfed in flames.
Fire and Rescue NSW was supported by the Rural Fire Service to extinguish the fire.
The body was located inside a short time later and is yet to be identified.
The occupant of the home, a 70-year-old man, remains unaccounted for.
A crime scene has been established and police are investigating the circumstances around the incident.
