MAN ESCAPES INJURY IN SOMERSBY COLLISION

A man is lucky to be alive after his car was pinned between a truck and a tree in Somersby.

At around 11 this morning, emergency services were called to Wisemans Ferry Road after reports a truck and a four-wheel drive had collided.

The road was closed as crews worked to save the man, who was trapped in his car.

Paramedics treated him at the scene but he didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
