MAN CRITICALLY INJURED AFTER CAR CRASHES INTO TRUCK DURING PURSUIT

The nation’s busiest road was closed for several hours south of Ballina overnight, after a police pursuit came to a crashing end.

The fleeing car slamming head-on into a truck, leaving its driver fighting for life.
