Two local clubs will be riding the waves at Newcastle this weekend, for the Australian Boardriders Battle finals.
North Shelly and Avoca will be competing in both the opens men’s and women’s rounds.
They’ll be among 24 clubs in the running, the winners to be crowned national champions.
The heats start tomorrow.
