Hazard reduction burns will be carried out in Armidale’s Pineforest this Saturday to mitigate the risk of severe bush fires.
32 Rural Fire Service volunteers will oversee the burns, which will protect Waldorf School and surrounding properties during summer.
Armidale residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed and ensure pets are in protected areas.
