Bingleburra Road at Dungog will remain a single lane operation for the foreseeable future, with Council claiming vandalism and theft has hampered stabilisation work.
A landslip left the road impassable during the February floods and it was closed for some time.
Dungog Shire Council says while it’s working hard to repair it, onsite traffic lights have been vandalised on several occasions.
Solar panels and light batteries were removed, forcing Council to install protective barriers.
The area will be under traffic control until it’s deemed safe.
