A man is in a serious condition after a plane crash on the New South Wales Far North Coast this morning.
Emergency Services were called to a property on Martins Lane at Knockrow at about 9am, following reports a small aircraft had crashed.
It appears the ultra light aircraft stalled before crashing to the ground.
The pilot, a 73-year-old Ballina man, was the sole occupant of the plane.
He’s been taken to Gold Coast Hospital in a serious condition.
Forensic specialists will investigate, along with Recreational Aviation Australia.
