Police have seized a 12-gauge double barrel shotgun and ammunition, following the search of a property in Armidale last night.
Just after six o’clock, detectives searched a home on Ishbell Drive, where they located the gun which they believe was stolen during a break and enter in 2014.
A 29-year-old man was charged with possessing an unregistered firearm and ammunition without a license.
Today, he was granted conditional bail in Armidale Local Court, and will reappear before the court next month.
