POLICE MAKE ARREST IN BACKYARD LAKE AT MANNERING PARK

They’re not water police, but officers were forced to get their feet wet this afternoon, to retrieve a man wanted on outstanding warrants.

The 33-year-old allegedly ran through a backyard at Mannering Park on the Central Coast, then dove into the water.

He refused to come out, so they had to go to him.

Charges are yet to be laid.
