UPDATE | A man’s body has been found in Inverell this morning, as police continue to investigate the fatal stabbing of a 50-year-old woman, nearby.
At 7:45am, officers located his body at a property on Kings Plan Road.
He’s yet to be formally identified.
Police say all three people are known to each other.

ORIGINAL | A woman has been killed and another seriously injured following a stabbing at Inverell this morning.
Emergency services were called to Glen Innes Road, near Moore Street, just after 2am.
A woman, believed to be in her 50s, suffered critical stab wounds and died at the scene.
A second woman, believed to be in her 20s, was rushed to Inverell Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives have set up a crime scene.
