Pharmacies in Uralla, Walcha, Guyra and Dorrigo have been named among 22 regional businesses approved to administer the AstraZeneca vaccine later this month.
It’s hoped the move will help to speed up the vaccine rollout.
Pharmacists can only give the jab to people aged over 60 with written approval.
More pharmacies are expected to be added to the list in the near future.
