NEWCASTLE’S TOP FIREMAN HANGS UP HIS UNIFORM

Newcastle’s most senior fireman is hanging up his uniform after more than four decades.

Brett Davies became a fire fighter in August 1980, working in Sydney and the Central Coast.

Today he walked out of the Lambton station for the last time, and in retirement.
